His baseball team will have the privilege of playing a nonconference game against Horicon High School at Miller Park following the Milwaukee Brewers-Pittsburgh Pirates game on May 6, but the school needs to sell its allotment of tickets for that day's major league game.

Some of the perks for those who purchase tickets include: free parking and $1 hot dogs and sodas. There are printable order forms available on team's Web site at www.manawa.k12.wi.us/ Staff/LWHS/Baseball/ index.htm.

Busch joins defending and three-time Slinger Nationals champion Matt Kenseth as the list of impressive drivers starts to build for this year's event. Kenseth won the 2006 title after battling an ignition problem early in the race and a very fast David Prunty late in the race.

For a chance to meet Kenseth and Busch a limited number of VIP Meet and Greet Hospitality tickets are available. VIP Hospitality tickets will allow lucky fans the opportunity to get an autograph and attend a question and answer session. Food, drink and a general admission ticket to the race will be included with the VIP Ticket.

VIP and advance tickets for the event are now on sale at the Slinger Speedway track office at 262-644-5921, B&S Liquor in Hartford or on line at www.slingersuperspeedway.com . Fans can save $3 when they purchase adult general admission tickets in advance.

Slinger Speedway is located off of U.S. 41 and State 144 at 280 Cedar Creek Road in Slinger. For more information on upcoming events, call the track office at 262-644-5921.

Bob Schneider, owner/manager of the track, said in a press release that the track has never been in better shape so early in the racing season. There is free spectator admission for the entire 2007 season.

Freedom Trophy, a Gravity Park subsidiary, creates the trophies being awarded at each race. A six-foot high, national size trophy and $5,500 in cash will be awarded at the Quadlympics Race in June.

The facility includes bleachers, a bar, restaurant with restrooms and free camping. Available are sandwiches, snacks, beer and other beverages, including the Friday night fish fry dinner. For additional information call 920-849-RACE.

Xcel Sports Training, the Midwest's premier Combine provider, has announced its 2007 High School Football Combine schedule that includes Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Xcel's Combines provide high school athletes the opportunity to perform physical testing with the use of electronic timing systems, which are preferred by college recruiters because of their absolute accuracy. Xcel's Combines have been named the official Combine of the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association.

Test results on every athlete participating in a Combine are sent to all university football programs in the United States in all divisions, and are available to any coach, at no charge, on Xcel's Web site.

Each Xcel Combine is a three-part event. The first part of the Combine involves physical testing. Every test performed is identical to those performed at the NFL Combine. The second part involves teaching performance enhancement techniques. The last part of the Combine is an educational seminar presented to athletes, their parents and coaches, by a nationally recognized recruiting expert.

All Xcel Combines are $75 per participant and are open to all student-athletes in grades 9 through 12. Registration and payment information is available at www.xcelsportstraining.net . If you are interested in obtaining more information regarding the Combines, contact Xcel Sports Training at 608-279-6960.
