'Russia is keen on towards pushing bilateral relationships with India to new heights,' said Vladislav V Antonyuk, consul general of the Russian federation in Southern India.
He was speaking at a function organised to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Russian Centre for International Scientific and Cultural Cooperation.
'Together and dynamic, we will certainly do our utmost expose on new arenas of scientific and cultural aspects of the two countries,' he said.
The meeting was followed by the awarding of medals and greeting letters to those who have contributed for the development of Indo-Russian friendship and cooperation. A cultural programme by school children capped the event.
