COVENANT HOSPITAL Plainview is seeking opinions from the public through a survey that is available in English and Spanish on the website, www.covenantplainview.org.
Surveys also can be picked up at the information desk in the front lobby of the hospital, 2601 Dimmitt Road. Covenant will make a donation to Plainview Area United Way or American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund on behalf of those completing the survey. Deadline for completing the survey is Oct. 25.
PLAINVIEW CIVIC Theater will be holding auditions for adult roles in "Miracle on 34th Street" at 8 tonight at the Plainview ISD Technology Center, 2407 Yonkers, and youngsters audition at 6 p.m. Thursday at Wayland´s Black Box Theater in Harral Auditorium. There are parts for up to 10 men, 10 women and 20 children. No prepared monologue will be required, just show up and read from the script. If you have questions, call director Wes Naron at 518-0368. Performance dates are Nov. 25, 26 and 27 and Dec. 2-3 at the Black Box. Rehearsals begin at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, with rehearsals on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
